Do you have a comping system?

I have a system but its probably much more complicated than it needs to be!
Through the day, whenever the kids are busy and I have a quiet 5 mins, I will access mse on my phone. I scroll down the lists of comps, clicking the red x on any I know I don't want to enter.
In the evening, once the kids are in bed, I come onto MSE on my laptop. I go down the list, clicking open in new tab, until I get to the point I left the day before. I then click bookmark all tabs into a "TO ENTER" folder.
I sort folder by date, then enter any comps ending today or tomorrow.
I then do my "DAILY PRIZE" folder, which is all the comps that can be entered daily, such as topcashback, quidco, belvoir etc
I usually only enter each comp once, so I don't distinguish between rc/gl/mags just save them all in the same folder, unless its a prize that I really like the look of, then I save it into a "Extra Entries" folder, and I do this folder last and only if I have time.
If I have any time left, then I go back to my TO ENTER folder and keep working through it under I run out of time.0 -
Oh - just thought. I always go to compers chat corner first and waste precious comping time chatting to you lot or answering questions.
And here was me thinking that was THE most important part of your comping day

my system after waking up:
Do some mag dailies on my phone while waking up/waiting for the kids to come running in
get up and finish mag dailies over breakfast
any dailies such as dorset cereals, badger the button etc
after 12 check the postcode lotteries etc
work by end date and get as far as I can ahead
I've managed to be completely up to date a couple of times this year but something always comes up to make me get behind again - work, kids, losing the comping love
As compers I think we all have our own little rituals on how we do things, as long as it works for you :-)2012 - must pay off last CC and maybe overdraft then debt free woop!!
Jan wins - Craft stamp, Planet Dinosaur book, Clover butter, nail foils
Good luck all compers :j0 -
My system is to enter as many competitions as I can before it becomes a chore then hope for a win or two.
Not getting any small wins these days - the ones that used to keep you going before you get the .........BIG one!0 -
go to where i left off and catch up to the newest one posted
do dailies
do mag dailies
do c2w
in between that i keep checking for new ones posted. I also do any on fb/tw that i see; I find these easier to enter on my phone.
I have to fit it in around school runs/toddler groups/toddler napping so try not to let myself get distracted!0 -
What got me on track was saving the ones I wanted to enter into a folder. Before I did that, I'd go through the board from the ones most recently posted and dabble with entering a few here and there and then juggle that with end dating in a panic. Now I go through from the most recently posted each morning and evening (and in between when I've time as I work from home). Anything I want to enter I save into a folder for when I've time to go through it. Then when I go through my folder, all the ones there are ones I've chosen to enter so there's no faffing about- I just open 15-20 at a time depending on how well the internet is bothering to work and whizz through.I also have a folder for the mag dailies and a folder for other dailies as I find it is quicker than using the lists on MSE as I don't have to scroll through the ones I'm not interested in to find the ones I am.0

I tend to search for comps ending the following day and enter those. Other than that, I search for things I'd like to win. For example, I'm moving into a new flat soon and have been looking for comps to win things for the flat. Try to keep up to date with the main board too, just scrolling through and entering things I'd like to win.0

First I start with searching comps I know I won’t enter, so anything with ticket, tickets or effort in the title.
I then search and enter TW, Twitter, RC, rafflecopter, and Gleam (I don’t tweet from Gleams anymore as I keep getting shadow banned).
I then enter what’s left working my way backwards from where I was last night ( at that point I had done everything after page 11).
I don’t do many dailies, I just don’t get the time, I have no idea how I will get on with the advents (I wish there were 5 extra hours in the day just for comping).Total 2019: £3972 - Best win this year £3000
2018 total £4062/2017 total £2260/ 2016 total £2025/ 2015 total £3809.0 -
I just enter as many things as possible in a scattergun approach before i get bored and end up in a YouTube rabbit hole watching weird random videos. I have a list of saved links that i never, ever get round to entering thus rendering it completely redundant and pointless.
I do enter a fair amount of Twitter competitions though and have had great success until my month and a half long Shadowban. Still awaiting my 1st win on there since it suddenly lifted a week ago.
Looking forward to the Advents. I had only just started comping this time last year and didn't really understand how things work around here, so i kinda missed out on most of it. Going to embrace the chaos this time.0
