DS Is Flying From Heathrow on Wed - Need Hotel Room for Tues Night

Hi
My DS is flying to Turkey on Wednesday morning from Heathrow and, as we live in the north east, he needs to travel down to London some time on Tuesday and stay overnight.
I have been searching for accommodation for him but it all seems so expensive.
Does anyone have any ideas or even any discount codes for any hotels.
He's a 2nd year Uni student so any help would be much appreciated.

No need for him to stay near Heathrow.
If he's on a tight budget(he'd better be otherwise you should be posting on the alternative MoneySpendingExpert Forum), he can stay at St Christopher's Inn - Hammersmith for as little as £9.50.
Once awake, he can hop on to the nearby(it's across the road) Piccadilly line Tube at Hammersmith in order to get to the airport. No line changes are necessary.
Should give himself at least an hour for the journey.
Don't waste time and money overpaying with Laterooms. Never seen them offer a cheap room.0 -

I live in London, so I wouldn't have stayed there..
He's a student. It will be fine. Plus, he won't be alone.
I've seen a couple of them in passing. They look good and clean.0
