What could it be? Floor tiling

Last month I paid someone to tile my kitchen floor, today a crack has appeared in the tile coming from the skirting board.
Any reason as to why this might be? I’ve messaged the tiler to come and have a look but I don’t want to be told a load of jargon I don’t understand so they don’t have to repair, does anyone have any advice on why it might have cracked?
Thanks

Either improperly supported or just a defect in the tile, I would imagine.0

Depending on the floor type, either not boarded correctly or solid floor not flat. Possible that the tile adhesive wasn't spread fully leaving a void. A good tiler would sort that anyway - not too hard to do if you have a spare tile available.0

This happened to us once. It was because they had laid one section of the newly tiled floor straight over wooden floorboards, which obviously move. The majority of the tiles were laid on concrete, giving no problems there.0

They're all laid on concrete. The crack comes directly from the corner of the skirting board near the back door. There's next to no gap between the tile and the skirting board so he said he'd re-lay it and leave a slightly bigger gap,(I'd have thought there needs to be a gap anyway to put the grout and relieve pressure from the skirting board on the tile) but there's a chance he could damage other tiles whilst replacing it, which would result in me having to buy more as we only have one spare tile.
so stressful! I now have to buy more grout as he left ours out in the rain last time. Mortgage left: £82,256.83
