Anyone used this? I've got to get rid of two rooms of horrendous wallpaper. I'm not sure, I think it is blown vinyl as it's got a raised pattern that is hardened (not woodchip) so I figured the steamer would have a hard time of it.

Someone recommended this stuff and online reviews seem good.

I just use a water spray with one drop of washing-up liquid. Your Simple-strip looks expensive.

Expense isn't the problem. Time (and to a lesser extent, inclination) are the problem! I have two days to get the house ready for the builders, and the person I thought I had lined up to help me has bailed. I need time saving measures!

Take a look at this article. We followed the instructions and stripped a whole house of painted anaglypta, including ceilings, in next to no time.

If expense isn't a problem, get the builders to do it!

The top layer of our blown vinyl just peeled off leaving paper, easily removed with a bit of water.
