Hello All
I have today spoekn to the lady who owns the flat upstiars (i live in a converetd house) as a conditoin of sale i am puchaisng my share of the freehold. Today it was suggested to me by the lady upstaris that we get a indpeendnet chartered person in to value the freehold as she believe it is worth less not the 10k that she has quoted. I was under the impression that the freehold amount is non negitable? Is this correct?
Also we talked about froming a managemnet compnay does anyone know how this works?
Thanks in advANCE

If only two, you don't need to form a company. There are other ways, which can be discussed with your solicitor when you get to that stage.
The freehold price is negotiable.
Call some of your local surveyors on the LEASE website, and get one to come round to value it. As a guide, I paid £400 incl vat for the valuation survey (with no marriage value involved...ie over 80 years remaining on the leases).0
