My husband put a claim in for ppi with Danske bank. My husband was unemployed with this credit card and we fell behind with payments no money was every paid out from Danske he never knew he had it. To be honest he said he thought it was something like the interest on your card he didn't now what it was for so there fore thought he didn't have it. Danske bank have came back and confirmed there was ppi but felt it was not missold they said we could claim if we had paperwork before 2000. But who keeps paperwork over 17 years. They can't confirm when it was sold and said they are sure it was explained at the time by their staff. I don't feel this decision is right what does anyone else think? Or can you advise please?

Not mich you can do if there is no paperwok.
He would have signed to say he had read and understood allmthe terms and conditions. Ant the ppi payment would have been on a seperate line on every single statement.
Not reading things properly is the killer for him.
And you would be surprised at how many people keep paperwork, specially to do with financesmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
