123refunds

Had a call today from co. called 123refunds asking me if I had ever had credit cards, saying that if the C.C.co.had increased your limit without you signing for it you could claim this back, it’s like the new ppi. I have had my cards for ten years or more confirmed I would be in for a big payday. I put about £7k on a card each year and they claim I could get all my payments back within 3months so big money. Thier fee would be on quarter much the same as ppi. But-here’s the but I would need to pay £600 up front for them to do this. They claim it would not be a risk to me as I could claim back from the credit card within six months if they have not got my money by then . I’m very sceptical to be fair it seems to go to be true anyone heard of this is it just a scam ???

If it sounds too good to be true....
  • I’m very sceptical......

You have every reason to be sceptical!
  • Scam.

    Block and report the number
  • Do you have any knowledge of them or is it what you think
  • It's a well trodden fictional line of compensation chasing.

    You're still tempted, aren't you?

No one needs knowledge of the company to know it screams scam!

    It's an obvious scam.

Aside from anything else, if they're so sure of success why aren't they taking their fee from the massive refund you're definitely going to receive?

Do you think that there is even 1% chance of it being genuine ?

I think the only way we'll resolve this is if you send them the £600 and then report back on how much money they have managed to reclaim.
