How do I change ceiling halogen lights?! Help!

  • Thanks all, as I’ve said it’s not held in with a circlip, and a suction cup won’t stick as the bulbs are recessed. I’ve tried pushing and turning, will have to try a bit harder!
  • they look like low voltage lamps to me (not GU10) so they should just pull out. if you twist them you risk snapping off the thin pins of the lamp into the lampholder which may mean replacing that also.
    just try to get your fingernails either side of the lamp and gently wiggle out in a downward direction.
