Fake Designer items

Does anyone know of any websites where you can check whether items you bought are fake or not.
I'm hoping for something that will tell me what distribution addresses or copyright marks I should be looking for.
The items are Versace.
I have searched the web but can't find anything.

The honest forum has lots of info about clothing that's fake and what's not, if there's nothing there on versace there may be someone who can help you!

I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

The only genuine versace you could get on ebay would be someone selling it on second hand. I would be very wary of anyone selling genuine versace goods, you need to remember that ebay is like a huge market, and some stalls will make and sell cheap copies.

My advice, read the rest of this forum, and put the money you save towards treating yourself to the real thing.

I would tend to agree 99.9% of eBay sales as regards to designer clothing are fakes. There are a few sellers who do sell authentic but you can tell this from the price, Diesel jeans being the best example as thanks to the "honestforum" it is quite easy to tell authentic from fake.

The problem with eBay is that there are so many fakes any authentic sales either can't compete or reach a price that is below what they should because of people's perceptions of them being fake.

90% of internet clothing websites sell fakes as well but this is changing there are a few sites you could look at for what should be authentic...please correct me if I am wrong.

Hope that helps, also you will find that it may be better calling Versace as they will tend to ignore e-mails on these matters...

    Cheers
