Team Knowhow (Currys) Lost Item

Hi All,
The inputs on my Panasonic Tv recently stopped working so I contacted team knowhow to have it taken away and repaired.
It has now been over two weeks so I have contacted them and been informed that they have no idea where the television is. Which is a bit worrying.
The customer service person was very helpful and admitted himself he is quite embarrassed to have to tell me this as it's a 65"tv, but if it still was not found by tomorrow they would offer me vouchers to purchase a new like for like replacement.
Now the only issue I have with this is that it was one of the last plasma screens Panasonic produced and the picture quality was amazing. With the vouchers Curry's would offer, does anyone know if this would simply be for any 65" tv or a modern day replacement?
I would ideally like to replace it with a Panasonic or name brand rather than Hi-sense or one of the more budget TVs, but I'm not sure how much they would offer.
Unsure if anyone has ever experienced this before?

I would argue a like for like replacement is a 65inch Panasonic, as obviously theyre not going to be able to replace the plasma.0
