Acromas Insurance OK?

I have a quote from Saga for car insurance and the insurance company is Acromas, which is registered in Gibraltar. Apparently it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saga. As it is registered in Gibraltar, do I get the same level of protection as if it was registered in the UK?

Personally i avoid them. In my eyes its probably tax avoidance and if they are OK with avoiding tax then what else may they avoid.

Probably OTT but just my way of thinking.

And yet i probably buy stuff from many companies who are also evading tax. Pot and black kettles?
