PPI Cancellation Fee charged at £50 per hour - ClaimsInclusive

This morning a letter dropped through the letter-box from claimsinclusive requesting £450 for a PPI Cancellation Fee, charged at £50 per hour. 14 days to pay, or?
A few questions:
1. I never requested a Cancellation for a PPI. I was lead to believe from the start, the PPI was a no win, no fee deal. I feel had.
2. 9 hours charged at £50 per hour to cancel a PPI seems long and excessive.
3. If i refuse to pay and go to court, will claimsinclusive wave the small print flag. Does the fact PPI companies harass me time and time again via my mobile phone hold any weight?

It all depends on what you have signed up to and what has occurred.
You mobile phone will have no bearing on the validity of their claim.0 -
After much harassment from many PPI companies, i gave in. I sign some basic paper work and left it in the hands of claimsinclusive.co.uk
Time and time again they would ask for info, and i supplied any info. i could. There really wasn't much more i could do. For quite some time, they failed to find anything, and eventually left me alone. Now, out of the blue, a £450 bill arrives, to cover cancellation?0 -

Did you ever request that they "leave you alone"?For quite some time, they failed to find anything, and eventually left me alone.
That would be a cancellation request I'm afraid.
Why didn't you just let them continue "complaining" on your behalf? Eventually, the firm would have given up if they had no success and you would not have been charged.
Now it looks like you'll either have to pay this bill or persuade them to continue to represent you in PPI complaints.0 -
Just got off the phone to Claimsinclusive. The cancellation fee came into force as they were unable to get hold of me. They claimed to have sent a letter some months ago, which i never received.
For the moment they have cancelled the cancellation fee, and want to continue as we were before, even although i cannot provide them with any more info with regards to a previous back account.

Still no reply to the Email.
This morning (Monday) i was greeted with two text messages on my phone, concerning the lack of payment. I called them again, and was told to ignore the text messages, sent in error. I felt the need to mention my email to them, and how they had not responded. The representative said that my email had been noted on their system.0
