First UC payment due tomorrow...

I'm apparently meant to be getting £317.82.

However, at the start of the month, I received money, late, from my last employer. Around £290.

Will this see my payment reduced? I'll be struggling enough this month with the full £317.82, let alone if it gets reduced.

It depends when your monthly reporting period runs from-to.

If it was captured by RTI (90% of employers send info to HMRC re wages) it will affect the amount of UC awarded; but, if it arrived after it will affect the next month's UC. The national UC contact centres should be able to inform you, although you should also have received a breakdown of any award in the post. Indeed, this is meant to happen each month.

If it hasn't - as sadly is the case with some new UC claims - also give them a call and request these letters.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
