Just put your phone on silent at night if you dont like to be woken with every single email.

Tell your email app to not auto sync? Turn off wi-fi and mobile data?

Do you really think I'd be resorting to Tasker if all I wanted to do was stop emails waking me up.

My email app doesn't allow you to specify a period where it isn't syncing, and doesn't play nicely with androids battery optimisation. Which means that it drains my battery all night long.

All I need is an automatic way of stopping it doing this but I have yet to find one. Even disabling the mobile and wifi data can't be done on a schedule, as far as I'm aware, on an unrooted phone.

Well you didnt explain your reasons in your original posts so I just had to assume why you wanted to do it.....

I use aquamail and believe it has the options you require.

Charge your phone overnight then it won't matter what email is doing.

Excuse me? I think you'll find I simply made a comment thanking AndyPix for his helpful answer and saying why it might be useful for me.
