Hi, new to here and looking for some advise.
I used Resolver to contact my bank re PPI, 8 days later i get a letter stating they have checked my accounts and none have PPI apart from my CC. I thought I may have had it on my current account as I spent a lot of my time at uni and some time after in my overdraft.
Anyway, its been said that I have PPI on my credit card, approx. £1,500, but the PPI was cancelled in 2010. I didn't cancel it as I had no idea I had it, do banks automatically cancel it? Should I question this with the bank? The card is still active and has a balance, I pay off x amount monthly.
The next set is to fill in some forms, half of which I have no idea of the answers. But I can do it online so will give that a go.
Just looking for any help on the above, or tips / advise from anyone who has dealt with RBS / Natwest re PPI.
Thanks!

Just answer the questions honestly. If you don't know, say you don't know.
Anyone else's experiences will be worse than useless.0 -

Most banks didnt offer PPI on their current accounts. Only a few did and even then, it was limited. Typically, not available on student accounts as students couldnt have PPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Thanks for the fast responses. I suppose my main reason for starting the thread is re the PPI being cancelled automatically, whether this is something that is done or whether I should ask someone about it? I had no idea I had it on the card so no way I could have cancelled it!0

If you actually paid any PPI it would have been itemised, on a separate line, on the monthly statement(s). Difficult to miss.0
