Catalytic Oven Liners or Enamel Oven Liners

I noticed a Zanussi double oven cooker with enamel oven liners for sale.
Separately for an extra £70 it's possible to buy a similar Hotpoint cooker which has catalytic oven liners.
Are the catalytic oven liners effective? Are they worth the extra expense?
Thanks!

It depends how much you enjoy cleaning mucky ovens I suppose, as well as whether the catalytic liners are sides-only or (say) top of oven too.
Yes, they help by giving you a bit less less cleaning to do and yes in my experience they work - but you'll certainly still have the wire shelves to clean and probably the bottom too. And for me they're the worst bits.0 -
Our Hotpoint pyrolytic oven cleans sides, back, top and bottom, but you have to remove the racks and side rack holders otherwise the shiny finish on these gets dulled and discoloured. Works well, takes a couple of hours and gets really hot (locks the door itself while heating up until cooled to a reasonable temperature). Beats the mess, smell and hassle of Mr Muscle etc!!0

Yes, they're good but as said the liners aren't the only thing that needs cleaning. Better save the money and put it towards getting a cleaning service in once a year.0
