Hello esk...... and may I ask "why not" ?
Perhaps there weren't enough emojis to signify the jokes in my post and the one I was replying to, but, for the avoidance of doubt, my remark was entirely tongue in cheek and not to be taken seriously!wiseonesomeofthetime wrote: »I have used paperless for years without an issue.0 -

Understood....perhaps more a matter of the App going down the pan and becoming a damp squib......:rotfl:0 -
It'd be interesting to know if Martin has done any new comparisons on saving accounts/current accounts interest rates and what his thoughts are on the 5% rate on the eSaver? I'm wondering is there a catch?...
I've had the 123 for a few years now and basically also use it for my savings as it was for a time the best rate, but there must be better rates out there now?0 -
If you scroll further up the page you'll find quick links to the 'top savings accounts' article that is constantly updated, and the 'how to start saving' one with an overview about different types of products such as current accounts and regular savers....It'd be interesting to know if Martin has done any new comparisons on saving accounts/current accounts interest rates and what his thoughts are on the 5% rate on the eSaver? The regular saver is a good deal - but you can only drip feed £200 per month into it. So while it will build up over time, you can't transfer your entire £20k in your 123 account.
Also - beware there are 2 versions of the Regular saver - paying 5% and 3%. Make sure that if you transfer to a 123 Lite, you can still take advantage of the higher 5% rate.0 -
There aren't two version of the Regular Saver - its the same product, the interest rate you get depends on whether or not you are a Santander 123 World or Select customer. So you can have the 5% rate without a 123 account by being a Select customer instead.
Typically a 123 World Customer is somebody who has one or more of any of the 123 products - for most people this will be either of the 123 current accounts or the 123 credit card. A select customer is somebody who basically has shedloads of money in a nutshell.0
