    Thank you!
Looks like my line manager must have misplaced my slip and hence the HR didn't update their spreadsheet with actual days I have been on holiday. I was really surprised to find an incomplete list of my slips on the file.

    Thank you getmore4less!

I have already done that and this is how I came to know as he is giving me more!

Thank you all for your valuable inputs. I think my line manager didn't update it with the HR since they didn't receive my previous approved holiday forms and so the record is not updated in their system (at least partially). I don't remember when I took my holidays and didn't keep the copy of it as well. No, nothing was carried over from the previous year.

I find that quite surprising unless it was loads of odd day 1/2 days.

when I was working I would remember at least a year back(even the odd days) and could have a good guess at the previous 2 years from memory, backed up with a calendar and things like spending records exact dates.

(now I can't remember what I did last week but can remember holiday dates)

I would go back to the line manager and make sure they are aware that there is a slip(or two) missing and how they want to handle it.

In one of my previous place of work it would have been noticed by other that someone has got more holidays than the rest of us.

you may not remember when you were off but others will have. so beware a backlash if it does get noticed.

Lucky you, I've just used up my last 3 days but can't even remember if that was last week or the week before, can't remember any dates for this year apart from St George's day
