Scam Call - Claiming to be HomeSure.

My friend received a call today claiming to be from HomeSure offering a reduced insurance on her home appliances "as she is such a good customer with no claims". In order to do this, they would need her debit card and bank details.
All very good, but she doesn't have a policy with HomeSure! It would be easy for people to accept this as a genuine call if they did happen to insure their appliances with them.
So, if you do have a policy with this company the phone call does NOT come from them.

Well Nicholas.
Instead of making yourself look any more like a scammer/stooge, why don't you do as you clearly agreed to on signup and get clearance from the MSE Mods before posting?
Commercial-interest posting, however well intentioned is strictly limited here, for very good reasons.
And until you get it, you are only digging a much deeper hole for yourself!0 -
The scam callers are claiming to be domestic appliance insurers, not an estate agency, and people who are being scammed suffer rather more than yourselves. "Other victims"!0
