PS4 or Xbox One?

Which is better? We're looking to get a console, at the moment I've got a Xbox 360. Have played PS3.
Really want to play farming simulator 17 etc.
Also is preowned worth looking at for a cheaper price?

For most the decision is made depending on what console your mates use if you are intending to play online with them.
Check our CEX webpage for pre-owned for an idea of prices` - think they give you some sort of guarantee.

There normally good bundle deals that put bed to the idea of buying second hand. Although if your not wanting any latest games it can save a few pounds.

Ive got both (that is the mak 1 verisons of each) and theres no noticeable difference.

Ive always found microsoft to be less updatey meaning you can normally get playing a bit quicker. Other than that it simply depends on the game i want to play.

On consoles it doesnt matter what game you want to play on it, if its available for that console, the console will be capable of playing it.

Im sure there might be a few who go in to ultra fine details but as someone who enjoys playing games i can do it on either machine. And they both do the job well.

The usual advice is get what your friends have if you play with them If not, get the one that ticks the most boxes regarding the games it has.

As above - the biggest driving factor is usually to get the same as your friends have.

Another thing that affected my decision was the controller.
I , like you, had an xbox 360 so the move to the xbone controller was seamless.
I cant get used to those daft little playstation controllers :(

I have both consoles. I've had a XB1 since launch and a PS4 for about 8 months. The interface on the PS4 frustrates the hell out of me but outside of that there's no difference in third party games. Gaming wise the difference is in the exclusives each one has but the latest Call of Duty will feel equally as well playable on both.

But ultimately most of the last 8 months my XB1 has barely been touched. The reason? Everyone I worked with at my last job had a PS4 and I spend most of my time on PS4 because that is where all my friends are.
