I'm not sure about the garden WB but the whole things still seems a big vague and wishy washy to me. A lot of it still seems to depend on people complying and I can't see everybody doing that.
Think you're wise not to go out for the packed lunches unless you really have to. Hope the meds help with the anxiety and the council come up trumps for you with food packs. xx

Oh God that is so annoying that they are saying to collect a packed lunch!!!!!!! ........ My daughter (a teacher) spent yesterday delivering a food parcel, provided through the school, to pupil premium families, which is why I asked. Infuriating that it's not being done in the same way in your area! Perhaps try and establish through the council if they are supplying/delivering food in boxes to any pupil premium at all. Explain to them that the 'come and collect a sarnie' really is not covering it for your situation and they are not fulfilling their duty of care. It's sort of irrelevant that you usually choose not to use school dinners, circumstances have changed and if there is a way to get more food into your house then all the better. Please try to pursue it.

Are you on any local FB groups? In my local area a lot of people are offering help with shopping for vulnerable people and some of the smaller shops are doing deliveries. If you could just get some essentials in it would be a start. I thought Amazon were prioritising food deliveries or have they gone down the same way as the supermarkets with no slots? it's a nightmare at the moment as everyone is starting to shop online when they normally wouldn't. Surely it'll get better soon. Fingers crossed something comes out of EH's tweet, they tend to take more difference if it's a public message like this but I expect they are manically busy right now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Sorry for the weird predictive text malarkey, I meant tend to take more notice not difference 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

WB - my mum suddenly had a deliver slot show up today when nothing has been available for ages, and it's for tomorrow. It appears that supermarkets have basically blocked all their unreserved slots while they work out which of their customers are vulnerable/elderly, so keep trying.5

Sainsbury's still no joy. 230 calls yesterday. 257 today. It's so annoying.
I've spoken to Asda though and have been offered a reoccurring slot from them.
School are only doing pack lunches JRRD. They have been in contact to check we are okay though.
I think once my bills are paid tomorrow. We have the food delivery sorted. We will be fine. Staying in doesn't really bother me too much. I think I like it. It's just all the things needing to be in place in such uncertain times is what's playing on my mind. Not being able to shop around/get fresh things etc.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”10 -
Excellent news about the shopping slot. Hopefully knowing that's sorted out for the foreseeable future will help you feel a little better about that side of things. xx6
