Hi WB :) I'm sure having as much prepared as possible beforehand will be a weight off your mind and will leave you a bit of brain space to think things through that really need thinking about.

The activity packs sound a good idea and hopefully you'll be home every evening so at least the days will be broken up for you and DD, as hard and time consuming as travelling every day sounds.

Fingers crossed somebody will come up trumps with having the older two. They don't have to be sleepovers do they if you're home every night or do you mean you're trying to get sleepovers organised in case you can't come home? xx

Wishing you well for the weeks ahead. Hope things are not too uncomfortable for little one and that the older 2 aren’t too worried about their little sister. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you all.
Does the ward not have a parent room where you can make a drink?

    Evening

    Thank you for the replies

Milann there is a parents room but you can't take hot drinks out of there/onto the ward. I usually get around it as youngest has to have a side room and I usually buy paper cup takeaway coffee with a lid. I think a cup with a lid might be better than a flask now I've thought about it. Will see how I get on tomorrow with just water/squash and then consider picking a cup with a lid up that will take hot drinks. Youngest doesn't like me leaving her why I go and get a drink so I don't think she'd be patient enough for the extra time of drinking one too :o

Have managed to get the full 28 days evening meals cooked and frozen in 'day's' we still have the option of jacket potato/a simple pasta or something. But it's done and it makes life easier. Porrisge/cereal for breakfasts and I'll make their lunches for school etc as normal making youngests to take with us.

I don't want to get back to reality I've really enjoyed just doing What we want.

Girls are in the bath and then we'll settle down with a story (or 5 in youngests case!)
Thank you Tea I really appreciate it x
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend x

    Everyone's bathed.

Need to run to the shop for some paracetamol. Will need to break into the emergency £10

So going to pop to the shop. Then make the smalls hot chocolate and youngest has already choose the first story she wants. DS will probably just go and ready his own book rather than listen to the one youngest has chosen.

School bags are ready. We will be leaving just before 7am.

I Will still try to get on but will probably run out of data. Quite a few have my number and I will still have texts. But don't be alarmed if I am quiet I have run away.
