Hope you enjoyed your afternoon tea
I've been in the garden as well, it's been lovely hasn't it.
Are you still hoping to get away over Easter or have I got that wrong. xx0 -
Evening
Afternoon tea was goodall the working myself up for nothing
Tea I wanted to use the family fund and my deposit Ive already paid plus the bit I need to add and then swap from October to Easter. However I can't use family fund to a holiday I've already booked. So I think I just need to lose my deposit for October. Then rebook for October using family fund and top up the rest myself. School won't give permission for the older two time off school so if I go in term time (when family fund cover the whole holiday) I will have fines from the council. So we won't be away at Easter and I'm not sure I can afford October“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea
That's a shame you can't use the FF for the holiday you'd already booked. I'm guessing as frustrating as it is to lose the deposit it will actually work out better for you financially in the long run.
Schools and their holiday rules are a pet hate of mine. There's lots more to life than missing 5 days of education once a year - if that  xx
ETA: I sent you a message but not sure they're going through? x0
