Evening. I've turned it back to 18. 13 is just too cold until summers here
Or at least for now why it's cold!
Burnt my dinner  and not enough bread for toast! Settled for a cuppa :rotfl:
Everyone's in bed and sleeping and all the cleaning done.
I don't really have much to sayfeeling a bit low so think I'll take myself of to bed too.
Hope you all have a lovely evening

I think 18 degrees is the minimum temperature for comfort. We keep our house cooler because we wear our warmest clothes indoor and sit under blankets.
Sorry you're feeling low Wannabe. I hope you feel better after a night's sleep.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

VERY glad to hear you've turned the heating back to 18 WF - advice sent out by some of the power companies suggests that anything below 14 is risky health-wise.
No idea what ours sits at as we don't have a thermostat of course but the hallway heater (the only one with temperature control) is set to 20 degrees but only on twice a day for a couple of hours.
How frustrating about the burnt dinner - can you try to ensure that you keep a loaf of cheap sliced bread in the freezer as "emergency rations" so at least you have toast if that sort of thing happens? Maybe also a few 45p cans of soup on the cupboard, or even a packet of cuppa soup type things?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
