Currys TV repair / returns policy

Hello
Wondering if anyone can advise...
Purchased a Samsung LCD tv end of July 2017 online with currys which developed a few weeks ago. Put me in touch with Samsung who sent a 3rd party out yesterday to change the screen. This resolved the 1st problem bit has left what appears to be pinching around the edge of the new screen.
Rang today and just got transferred back to samsung to re book an engineer visit. I rang currys again saying I'm not happy and want a replacement or refund which initially they seemed to agree with. When they called me back they said that they would have to get an engineer out as it was the same fault. They then rang back to say that Samsung were issuing a new ref as it was a new fault which when questioned they would not budge of refunding me.
Any idea as to how to get my refund?
Brick wall + my head = need help
Thanks

Remind them (Currys) that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 they are only allowed a single attempt at a repair after which you are entitled to exercise your final right to reject the TV for a full refund.0

Could the “pinching” just be the settings of the LED backlight? Most modern TVs need adjusting from factory defaults to look right and until adjusted can cause quite severe looking light and shadow areas at the edges of the screen.
If it’s not that and is actually faulty Currys can still insist it is inspected to confirm the fault before agreeing to a return as right now there is only your word that there is even a fault.0
