    You can’t make any application as you don’t yet have an interest in the property. It may be that the old leasehold title was never closed because it was subject to a charge or restriction that wasn’t able to be transferred to the new title.

    Essentially you need the current leaseholder and freeholder to agree to determine the short lease and get that determination registered with the Land Registry so they can close off the title.

    I'm unclear as to what you are actually dealing wit here as your OP refers to two titles but a later post then states there is one register document.

    Your OP also sets out the two lease details but in a way that is not identical to how I would expect to see them on the one register. You may have amended some if the wording to help our understanding though

    Are you able to post the full wording perhaps? Or, if willing, the title number as happy to take a look and try to explain why it us registered the way it is?
