NatWest Advantage Gold account

Options
Hi,

I am new to this forum so here goes.

I was a NatWest Employee for a short period and had to get one of their accounts to have my wages paid into it, that was 5 years ago.

I still have the NatWest account but barely use it but I am being charged about £17 a month for all the 'benefits' of having this account. I know It's my fault for keeping this but I always tell myself the travel insurance is good to have.

As an ex employee could I potentially claim back the 5 years of fees I've paid as I think it was originally £12 a month (free when I was an employee). Or am I just being greedy and stupid to keep paying the fee over the last 5 years?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

  • You've deliberately chosen to keep the account going (and paid the fee) to retain the benefits (ie travel insurance). Why do you think NatWest should repay you?
