I looked online to see how my investment in Interserve plc was performing, not too good.

They went down to almost zero today, anyone know why. It wont be my first investment that has gone pear shaped. But they hold Government contracts, they cannot go bust

Lloyd's and Shell also near collapsed today when I looked on Google Finance. I'm pleased to confirm that they have both since recovered.0

Did you click the news tab that gives some clues as to their hammering in the last 4 months? although they are off their lows at the moment:

Having experience in the broader sector then the problem is often they just lose money due to tight bidding.
Working for the public sector can help cash flow but if the contracts themselves aren't profitable then the contracts are of little value.0 -

I give them till Xmas, if that.
A private buyer may step in which will make your shares worthless as well.
Basically they have £3bn worth of contracts and only make 2p on every £.
It's just unsustainable.0 -
