Ok, so I have another job interview lined up for tomorrow, more local and part time hours im thinking of cancelling the original one not because of what was discussed as much as the interview will take about a hour, its in city centre meaning at very least I will be out of the building at 10pm, I then have to walk up to bus station which is 10 minutes walk and get bus to a welfare rights appointment I had booked but they want me to be there about 15 minutes early if possible, meaning even pushing it its 35 minutes from bus station to the appointment then a few minutes walk.

Then that takes a hour so have 2 hours to kill before I have to get bus to other interview.

Seems overkill and I have to already miss my college class to attend afternoon interview.

You're making excuses. Go for both.

So you want me to not turn up for a welfare rights appointment that I had to wait 3 weeks for, to fill in my assessment forms that are due back in 10 days time just because I might get called back for a job.

And to go to this one would mean a 6.30 wake, not that a early start is a problem but doing that means I will be exhausted for the 2nd interview and rushed about, but not just that the interview is in a different location to the workplace, I went for this one originally as the company had a branch around the corner from the station where I can just pop on the bus home or a few minutes from train station

Wouldn't you want me to be best for a job which I have a higher chance of getting and far more suitable.

Do you want me to be sweaty in my formal clothes as well with the 5 hour break between jobs (interviews of which are in 2 different towns and both more than a hours journey from my home)

My original plan was to wear the workclothes, go to interview, get changed and get bus to welfare rights place, I have a skin condition that makes me drenched in sweat easily unless I wear very loose clothes like t shirts, I can tolerate wearing a shirt for short periods if its in a freezing cold enviroment but not a office enviroment.

You have interviews for both jobs. Interviewers do not waste their time on people who have no chance. If you want (and are able to afford) to refuse interviews, then that is your choice. But I agree - you are making excuses here. If you want to find a solution, you will.

Had first interview but got told off by welfare rights for being late even though I informed them in advance, and job coach told me not to bother with either job due to locations.

To add to what I wrote before, I am very analytical and like to get things off my chest that can come across as making excuses when its not its simply to get it out and process it and get feedback.

It does seem at times that people just can't win. If you had turned down the interviews due to the location the job coach would probably have said that was the wrong thing to do too.

Haven't heard back from the other 2 yet but this one I was turned down for but given some feedback.

When I mentioned strengths I started strong but basically rambled on, I started just mentioning timekeeping, hard worker but because I thought that was too vague I gave a example which the interviewer marked me down for.

Other was give an example of a time I RECIEVED good customer service, I went blank.

The other one was about goals, cant remember exact question but they were looking for a answer of having a diary and a structure and working in teams.
