How much of a difference will drawing curtains and tucking them behind the radiator make to room temperature/heat loss, rather than leaving them open all night? The windows are double glazed but poorly maintained and drafty.

If you have thick lined curtains quite a difference, probably almost as much difference as spending £3 on rubber draught excluder from Amazon or Ebay.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

YES - Drawing the curtains and tucking the bottom edge up onto the window cill makes a big difference, as will drawing all the curtains wether or not there is a radiator below the window.0
