I think the brick hut comment is OTT, it looks much nicer than a lot of flat roof monstrosities I see quite a lot. It's not a chapel conversion..it is a 1964 built building with high ceilings. Our plan is to remove the existing kitchen and have a very small private hard/patio in the middle of the 2 large buildings. If you scroll through the pics you will see that the planners have removed the school building at the rear to create a small garden/patio. I would want to keep the school building and remove existing kitchen to create a small private area in middle left and the guid a wall with dwarf conifers to make a semi private garden in the left of the front garden. I would love to build a 5/6 foot wall on the left font garden but am sure planning won't allow.
I do agree though, the lack of garden will put some people off and reduce it's value. With a loft conversion it will have a floor space of around 300m. Must be £270k at least when modernised!0 -

I know it isn't a chapel conversion now but what you will have if you buy it will be a chapel conversion. This is the kind of building that people think of as a chapel conversion. https://www.propertypigeon.co.uk/property-search/hertford/sg14-1018075547. Not a modern brick built hut.
Whatever you do to it you are not going to be able to create a back garden where children can play ball games. It will be a family sized house on a small plot with the only decent garden doubling as parking space.0
