Urgent - can we use the heating if the water is turned off?

We have a leak so have turned off the water on the stoptap. We have a combi boiler, can we use the heating? Plumber is coming tomorrow to fix leak. Got can't get hold of him to ask about the heating! Freezing here!!

As long as you haven't stopped the cold water supply to the boiler, you can use it for heating the house while turning off hot water supply to the taps/tap.
They are 2 different circuits and you are absolutely fine. Just make sure the water supply to the boiler isn't affected.

The leak is from the pipes that sort the heating. We won't use the hot water taps so fine with no hot water0

If the leak is from the heating circuit, I don't you can use it.

If the leak is coming from your radiator circuit, you can't use the heating.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

good luck, i have hot water but not instant in that i have to turn my heating on.
whats the cheapest way to fix this? i only been home owner 2 years, i thought of local hero?0 -
