TD/II or iWeb

I'm working through the options (to cut my costs by leaving HL) given that the more I read about ii, which was my first thought, the more I think it would not be the best move. Telegraph Investor says, on its ISA page, says "Invest up to £15,240 in the current tax year... From 6 April 2017 the annual allowance rises to £20,000." So they're nicely on the ball then.capital0ne wrote: »I'm sure this has been done to death, but just going on the latest table in the Telegraph

II/TD and iWeb are on a par for portfolios above £50k, DD/II is £100/yr and iWeb is £80/yr, so what are all the original TD investors going to do - stick or switch?
You get what you pay for is one thing, but there seems to be a gap in the market for competence if anyone can provide it for less than the 60-70% margins which lie behind HL being one of Lindsell Train's main holdings.0 -
I queried the divi payment with II via SM, due to the transfer to iWeb and today I recieved a letter confirming they have closed the account, and that if they receive a divi they will post a cheque.
Didn't request they close the account just yet but, hey ho.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Still no HSBC divi (22 Nov).
Am still able to log in to the II (TD Direct) account so sent them a SM on 13 Dec, got a response on 15 Dec (not too shabby turn-around)... apparently they have contacted the 'Transfers Team' to arrange the transfer (it's like deja vu)
Maybe it will be a nice New Years gift..... (so glad to have left II).Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

I am due a PID and ordinary dividend (and a tax reclaim) on RDI REIT payable today - it will have gone to II so I await events.
On top of that, the four funds I have yet to see in iWeb (transferred in late November) are all Inc funds, three of which pay at the end of December - I foresee a long struggle....:eek:0 -
Makes my issue seem, rather small

I am astonished to report that the gross PID and the ordinary dividend have now appeared in iWEB!
