Distance selling rules question

Hi I wondered if you can set me straight on this, I want to buy an iPad from Argos and use their card to get 12 months interest free, now at the moment they are doing 10% off with a code but with Black Friday coming I want to hedge my bet and buy with this code keep it unopened till Friday to see if it drops in price.
So I can reserve it online and pay for it then pick it up instore, so would this qualify for an online sale and be eligible for a return ?
Thanks

If you pay online and collect in store it is a distance sale. If you reserve online but pay and collect in store then it is not a distance sale.0

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question0

I might be wrong, but even if it didn't qualify as a distance sale, I thought that the Argos store policy would allow for a change of mind return provided that the iPad was still in its original sealed box.0

Yes, Argos have a 30 day instore change of mind returns for most things.

Why not?
After all, this is a money saving website and provided that someone can save money whilst still acting within both the law and a store's return and refund policy, why shouldn't people try to save a few extra £s?0 -
I think I saw an Argos advert in the last few days that stated they would refund the difference on any improved offers over the Black Friday period.0

How is that relevant?Shaka_Zulu wrote: »A finance issue involved too.0 -

As I asked earlier, if the return is within the law and the store's return policy then what is wrong as these will cover the terms of any possible return.0
