I have an american style Samsung Fridge Freezer (model number RS21DPSM) with a water and ice dispenser. The water filter requires replacing (code WSF-100).
Does anyone know if I have to use a Samsung replacement?
If not has anyone used another one successfully?
Where is the cheapest place to get one and for what price?
The Samsung replacement is not cheap.
Any help appreciated.

if it looks like an oil filter and is a twist fit it is the same as mine, you can't get them cheap anywhere,my solution was to turn the water off to the fridge,at the back are 2 tubes that go into and out of the filter,i cut these and bought inline filters off ebay (2 for 14 quid) and put these into the cut tubes, works perfectly and is cheap.0

hi
i've also taken the filter off mine, still runs through fridge and comes out nice and cold. But if you want the filter I think they sell them much cheaper on ebay.0 -
Try www.pozzani.co.uk they even mail you another one, after 6months & charge your credit card, to save you remembering to re-order.

Leigh Anne 60 has the right idea, cheapest so far at £11.50 inc the P&P.
I already ordered from UK White goods at £16.45 inc the P&P.
I'll remember to use uk fridge filters.... next time.0 -

How long did your filter last before it needed changing0

They last 6 months, not because of the amount of water you use, but because of the risk of bacteria in the filters.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards.
