Pre-eligibility checkers can't match my details

Hello,
I am thinking about applying for a balance transfer credit card. To check my chances of getting it I have used various pre-eligibility checkers, including the MSE one. Unfortunately, I keep getting the same error message: "Sorry, we can't find your details Sometimes this happens when we can’t match the information you’ve provided to our records. This could be due to an error in the details you’ve just given us, or because we can’t find you on the Electoral Roll. Please go back and check your information, or get in touch with your local authority." (Barclays)
My local Electoral Registration Office have confirmed that I am indeed registered to vote. However, I am just looking at my Experian credit report and it seems that I was only registered to vote from 03/2015 to 10/2015 at my current address. Would this be the reason for the error messages when using the pre-eligibility checkers?
