Faulty Razorblade

Just a quick question I used a well known razor blade which was faulty and has been returned to the company for further investigation, but it did cause quite a serious injury which needed to be dressed by the nurse for 3 weeks and looks like I will be left with a scar.
I have had no offer of any compensation yet and I’m not sure what I should do or how much I should expect the company has said it will take up to 8 weeks to investigate can anyone help thanks

Do you have the receipt from where you purchased it from?
If we're talking about Gillette, they are well know for being faked and imported from China. (I used to do quite a bit of work for Gillette...)
So if you do not have a receipt showing an authentic purchase from an approved retailer, then you will struggle to get anywhere.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I would be very surprised if they found it to be genuine and then denied liability by stating it was a copy.0 -

That is what I mean - their testing procedures for their products are really rigorous and quality standards exceptionally high, so my first guess would be that it is a fake.
If it is genuine, then they would run a full investigation.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Definitely not a fake purchased from Tesco but just do not have any receipt as I never imagined I would have a problem0

Any form of proof of purchase e.g. Paid with card?
As there are so many fakes for razor blades, complaints about dodgy ones are hig.
Did you take lots of images before sending it?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
