Question - how do you get water out of radiators without spraying it everywhere? I've never managed to. It's always ended up splatting the surroundings.
Kudox want a sample. Say from the bleed plug which i think is the top corner in this picture...
Although i can't see what difference it makes so long as it's juice from the system so if it helps then i have one of these on a different radiator...
No doubt they'll find something wrong with the system but hey ho. Just how do you get it out without spraying?
On a side note ... are Purmo radiators better than Kudox or is it all much of a muchness?0 -
once you bleed the water out of the rad into the bottle (top valve)the system pressure should have reduced, if your dial on the boiler is still reading a pressure drain the rad from the bottom until system pressure is zero. close the TRV and lockshield fully, loosen the nuts connecting lockshield and TRV to the pipes and remove the rad with these items attached (take rad outside and drain rest of water off)there should be no leakage unless you still have pressure in the system.0

That final photo i could just attach a hose to it & undo the nut so it drains off with no spray. The only thing is it's 1) not the air bleeder that they specify and 2) not even the radiator that's duff, but surely it does contain system water so would it not be the same?0 -
I wouldn’t waste your time, it looks like there on not replace because you have no inhibitor or poor water quality exercise to me.
Take sample from the top will not effect the amount of chemical in the system but it will look cleaner.0 -

That sample was squirted out with the heating on. I know i should've probably waited for it to cool but i didn't burn0 -
Kudox customer service match there products
We had countless returns of chrome plated / white towel rads, all dosed with inhibitor and all in well ventilated bathrooms
No warranty on surface corrosion they told me .
