Hi All,
I've tried contacting the manager of the retailer that was visited on the day the 'contravention' occurred, however they are unable to confirm who owns the land (as expected)
I will now look to send my appeal to the PPC but just wanted to double check before I do:
Should I just copy and paste the Blue Template in the NEWBIES thread 'as is' with no other details, such as requesting proof of contract with Land Owner etc? Can I add more reasons / detail at the POPLA appeal stage without being penalized for not highlighting it in the PPC appeal?
Just wondering whether POPLA look at i) the appeal I made (Blue Template), ii) the appeal / comments I make at POPLA appeal or iii) Both i) & ii)
Apologies but still trying to get my head around the process.. No sarcy comments please

Weren't you going to complain to them and ask them to cancel the ticket?crimestopper123 wrote: »I've tried contacting the manager of the retailer that was visited on the day the 'contravention' occurred, however they are unable to confirm who owns the land (as expected)
Yes. Save the rest for PoPLA.crimestopper123 wrote: »Should I just copy and paste the Blue Template in the NEWBIES thread 'as is' with no other details...
Yes you can.crimestopper123 wrote: »Can I add more reasons / detail at the POPLA appeal stage without being penalized for not highlighting it in the PPC appeal?
PoPLA will obviously see your appeal to them, and they will ask for the operator's comments too. Of course the operator could send your original appeal to PoPLA if they wished.crimestopper123 wrote: »Just wondering whether POPLA look at i) the appeal I made (Blue Template), ii) the appeal / comments I make at POPLA appeal or iii) Both i) & ii)
You are overthinking this at this stage.0 -
Thanks KeithP - again appreciate your advice..
The Manager was a waste of space tbh!
I'll send the Blue template to the PPC and look for some advise when completing the POPLA appeal if people are happy to help.
Thanks again all0
