    Evening all,

Update on the GHD's. I watched the dvd and tried curling my hair...and there fab at curling! But you can curl with any straightners (although the new GHD's have rounded barrels that helps), its the way you pull the hair through that curls it! Its too hard to explain how to do it but i will try, you start from roots and as you pull down you twist the straightners round upwards and keep them pulled like that as you glide the straightners down then at the end you catch the bit of hair with your other hand and twist the hair.

On the money side of things ive been doing more extra hours at work, ive lost count of this weeks extra so far. i will have a look on my clock card 2moz.....Yes we have clock cards!!:rotfl:

I had a £1 spend today as Asda are selling there bags of harbio for 50p at the mo, so i brouight 2!! I love the sour haribo!!:o

    Cashback sites i currently have:

    Quidco £23
    WPY £11
    CBK £37

Total : £71 tracking! Roll on september when most of it should be paid out.

Im shattered!!! My back is in agony!! I did another 2 hours extra time today as aswell as STILL being very understaffed a girl was off sick too. At the mo me and another girl are doing 4 peoples different jobs but only getting paid for chambering!! And silly me forgot to clock out on monday so work didnt know what time i left....nor did i!!! But my work mate new when i had gone thankfully.

I have to work this bank holiday too, but its double pay so i dont mind. And next week the whole week i will be doing the morning reception and bar cleaning as the woman who normally does it is off the week. So i will be getting up very early....which i hate! But must do it as that will be another 5 hours extra.

My other case of cider and £4 lucheon vouchers came today. :D

    Hi Maria,

I'm sooooo jealous about you having the new GHD's, they sound fab. I've promised to buy myself a pair at the end of the month, i cannot wait!!!! I think i may risk it and get them from ebay though, some are seling for £100, but i will only buy from super sellers with really good feedback. I think i'll be covered if they are fake as i will pay using paypal.
Does the DVD show you how to curl your hair using them? the way you've explained it sounds really easy.

Briliant news about the cider, my OH loves Magners Cider so i think i wil enter, cider is cider in my books, whatever the make lol.

All the overtime sounds good, your ISA is going to be looking very healthy soon.

    xx

    Pinklady:

Are you sure you want to risk buying GHD's off ebay?? You said they cost £100 then there's £10 postage. GHD sell them for £130 free next day delivery, so you will only be saving £20 and taking the risk they will be fake. And GHD wont repair them if they go wrong if you buy them from Ebay, as the guarantee isnt valid if you buy them from Ebay. As you know i got them from Lookfantastic.co.uk paid £127 got £9 cashback plus free max mara perfume & free delievery. But had to wait a week as they went out of stock. I know paypal would refund you if there fake but do you want the hassle?

Anyway good luck with the cider...i didnt know you could enter more than once a week! :o
