They heat up super fast, and i only need to go over my hair once with them and its frizz free taking me 5 mins max. And they glide through my hair smoothly. With my vidal sassoon ones i brought when old GHD's broke i have to go over my hair 2 or 3 times and theres still frizz taking me about 15 mins.

I suppose its down to how out of control your hair is on what straightners you need!! my hair is super frizzy if i dont straighten! :rotfl: :o

I also like the fact that they switch off after half hour, my old pair didn't do that and i'm forever leaving the house and worrying if i left them on or not. Least with these super duper GHD's i won't have to worry about that.

The one's i'm using at the mo because my GHD's also broke i have to go over my hair at least 3 times before its straight, i love the first time i used my old GHD's, it was amazing, i was never going back into the world of cheap straightners after that, oh that was until i found this site so stopped myself buying a new pair and went with a cheapo pair instead.

    Hi Hayley,

Its the same with me when i go hairdressers i always get them to straighten it and they all use GHD's but they always get my hair looking super smooth. I think its coz they section my hair and start with underneath first then let a bit of hair down at a time. I just do it like im brushing my hair but with straightners if you get me!

I too cannot wait to see how they curl as ive never been able to find a good set of curling tongs and my OH loves curly hair. And mines always poker straight!:rotfl:

    Morning all,

Im sooo knackered from yesterday work was sooo busy, then i couldnt get out of the hotel car park as the huge jam of cars queuing up for the V festival. I will not be going out anywhere in town this weekend espically the supermarkets. All the hippies are walking up the roads with there crates of booze on there backs.:rotfl: I hope it doesnt rain on them this year.

Well i got my pay slip and after tax i earnt an extra £12:o Better than nothing.

I also just done another pincone survey for £4. I have now changed it to paypal payments as having trouble using the lucheon vouchers no where has seen them before and i have to stand around ages while they call the supervisors.

My wins stopped thursday & friday but today postie just came with rimmel sun shimmer bronzing mousse win!:D With all these bronzing prizes i will be looking tanned until next year!...that when i get the bottle to use them...im in fear of turning orange. But this rimmel one is a wash off so thats alright.

My A&L saver has now tracked as £20 on quidco, yay!

Well its my 25th birthday today! I cant believe im 25 already, i want to go back to being 18! I dont know how the years pass by sooo quickly!

I got £20 cash from my nan & grandad, watch and £30 cash from my mum, GHD's that havent come from my OH, and playboy fleecy bed throw from my brother, and yummy massive bar of galaxy from my work mates.
The £50 cash will NOT be going into my ISA i shall be spending it on myself as its birthday money its there to treat me. I havent treated myself in ages so cant wait to hit the shops!

The weather is rubbish today which is anoyying as we wanted to go to Brighton today for my birthday. But dont think it would be nice to walk round in wind and rain! So we will most probably go out for a meal and cinema to see wall-e if i get my way!...or batman if he gets his way!

Well ive just got back from town. We did go see Wall-e at Odeon, i havent been to the cinema in years!!!! I couldnt believe the price they wanted for popcorn etc!!! It was £20.00 to get in for 2 of us. Then £8.50 for two drinks and a large popcorn!!!! OH also insisted i had some pick and mix....the boy put it on the scales and forgot to charge us for it he just charged us for the drinks and popcorn!!! Result!

But here's the naughty bit... i had £50 of birthday money to spend, i was going to buy a top form Jane Norman but when i went in there they didnt have it. So i went to Game and brought myself a Wii console & 3 games bundle for £199 so i paid the £149 from the money i had left in my account. So my account is under £50. So dont reckon i will be hitting the £1000 in my ISA this month now! I had to treat myself though now im debt free!

But now my tv in my room has decided to go funny, its screen has gone red:confused: So now that wants replacing!!! But i will put up with it until it dies first!
