Changing toilets insides

Hi,
We have this space saving toilet (but not from here. Our seller is no longer on the market!)

After recent renovations, this toilet was moved downstairs. Ever since it is troubling us, water constantly running through to the pan etc. Plumber has been to look at it and he says he doesn't know what else to do with it, it is still running. Now this is the second plumber that said he has just never seen insides like these..
So that makes me think, I think that ideally we would change the whole of the inside. But as you can see the cistern is quite narrow.

Anyone has experience with slimline toilet and can advise what insides to buy that will fit?

Otherwise is whole new toilet.. I am sick and tired with this thing constantly running water in! You think it is repaired, and 2 flushes later the same thing happens.

I tried to google and all sorts, but the insides don't seem to have proper measurements in and we've never changed the whole inside of a toilet. My OH had taken these out before and put them back in, but I believe you can buy whole new set from places like screwfix, and replace them? Makes like fluidmaster are insides maker, but not actually toilet maker, and you can put them inside your toilet without having to stick with the one provided with the loo when you bought it?

Sorry, never needed to google so much about toilet before and all this new world has opened to me!!
