    I think Tesco internet saver is 1.2% not 1.3% but it's going up to 1.35% on 1 December

    Do they shop around for better electricity & gas deals or have they stuck with the same suppliers for years? It took me ages to persuade my parents to switch but now that they have they’ve saved something like £40 per month. Once they’d got used to that idea they were very happy to swap banks. Fortunately they each have separate accounts.

    I’m not saying that one would necessarily lead to the other but they’d probably save a considerable amount if they don’t switch utilities.
