I had a bank loan many many years ago. I seem to know you can only go back a few years. I had PPI on it. A bit silly I know but is it worth claiming.

Presumably you mean complain, rather than claim. Do you have complaint reasons?0

I was self employed at the time, The PPI I seem to remember paid the due monthly repayment if I was out of work. This happened but the payments were declined. The reason the bank gave me was I had to be out of work a minimum of least 30 days before any payment was made. Miss sold or what.0

That's not mis selling - it's a term of the policy, and a fairly standard one.0 -

That would fall into the "what" category.
These products have a waiting period as they are not designed to cover very short term issues, the expectation is that any period would be covered by your normal day to day savings.0 -
