Finding shareholdings

A firend asked me this this morning.

Her mother has started to lose her memory. She had various shareholdings. BT and M&S the daughter knows about. However she would like to know if there is a way to find out about any other holdings her mother may have?

    Hi,

    you could check bank statements for automatic dividend payments.

    Your friend might also consider POA for his/her mother if she still has capacity to agree to it now.

    Monitor post over the next 6 months, every company should send dividend notification and annual/half year reports
