Are you sure you downloaded the right program? http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
The freeware version should fix all errors no matter how many (talking from personal experience).

Edit: just ran mine and fixed 90 things in registry no problem.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct one? Ccleaner is freeware, so you shouldn't have to pay anything.

You didn't click on the one which comes out top on a google search did you? Although it looks like it is the real CCleaner, I would only trust a download from one of the well known download sites.

Did you click on my link and download the latest version? It's definitely freeware. If you're downloading "trial version" then you aren't downloading the right thing.

I can understand how the OP got confused with the filehippo link.

On the left hand side of the page it says...

    Download Now

    Free PC Cleaner Download!

    Download PC Registry Cleaner Free

If you click on Download Now it takes you to a totally different programme.

I think that's a bit naughty of File Hippo!!
  • can i just hijack this as seems resolved for the OP.

Am i right in thinking for everything CC finds i agree for it to fix everything - there isnt anything i need to check or review beforehand?
