Family Holiday-Where To Stay-Any Idea`s

Hi
Next May, around 30 members of our family are planning to book a holiday to celebrate a 60th birthday party.
Just wanted to know any recommendations of places to stay.
Places we have allready tried are:
Spain - marbella, caletta, barcelona,
Balearics - alcudia, magaluf,
canaries - correlejo, puerto del carmen.
The place needs to be good for families, not more than 4 hours flying, etc..
ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME.

I think we have decided to try MENORCA.
Having not been there before, has anyone been.....
If so, which is the best resort to try and recommended 4 or 5 star hotels.
We have small children so needs to be family orientated with a decent sandy beech.
