Beware of fake fingerlings!!!
Thought I was lucky finding a reputable site to buy one of the most wanted toys for Christmas 2017!
I read the description which clearly explained what it was and what make etc...
But when the item arrived, it was not a wow wee fingerlings, Sophie as advertised. But a cheap looking fake 'baby monkey'
I have emailed them and awaiting reply..
I did pay by PayPal though. Does anyone know if they can help?
Plus just want others to be aware!!!
Thanks

I guess I'm too old/childless, but I can make no sense at all of this thread!0

Fingerlings are like finger puppet monkeys but they cling to your fingers rather than you put your finger inside them.0

I would be very reluctant to put my finger inside a monkey..../Je suis sabot...0

Sounds like that was why fingerlings were invented.Hoof_Hearted wrote: »I would be very reluctant to put my finger inside a monkey..../

How on earth do these types of things become the "must have" Christmas present and get people to pay way above the odds from unscrupulous ebayers?
They are a bit cr4p really, I'm sure we had similar things in the 70's that attached to our pencils (minus the very limited "interactive" element).0 -
I thought this would be a thread about juvenile trout..0

If they had sent you a cheap looking real baby monkey I think you would have even more cause for complaint.0 -
What was the name of the reputable site?
Why not contact PayPal and ask them if they can help?
Did it say it was a Wowwee brand in the ad?0 -
If it is a reputable retailer, I would wait to hear back from them (or give them a call) as it was probably a genuine error.
Reputable or not, If you don't hear back in a couple of days,or if they don't give you a satisfactory resolution, you can dispute the transaction through Paypal and get your money back that way.A witty saying proves nothing0
