Egg Card - Need help

At least 10 years ago I applied for and got an egg card, over the intervening years I had a struggle with (but thankfully won) with alcohol, depression and homelessness. Having got myself back on my feet I've been trying to get everything financially back on course, but because of my circumstances I've lost all of my account details and information.

My question is this, as I've no account number is there anyway I could lodge a claim or seek information in regard to the Egg card? I'm sure there was something fishy about it at the time but I was young and just happy for the financial support.

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Claim what ?

What makes you think there was something fishy.

You make a complaint, not a claim
Google it to see if you can find an address

Before contacting them are you sure that the account was clear and you wont end up opening a can of worms.

  • Assume you're on about PPI?

Go here, https://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/complaints-egg.do and use the PPI Checker Enquiry form.

About 2 weeks time you will get a letter saying whether you had PPI and the account number.

You then fill in, either on-line or printed out form, the PPI Questionnaire and see what happens.
