im really sorry that you are having this terrible stress but you must have been overpaid by quite a lot each month for this to have occured. did you not wonder why you were managing so well!!!!

i have had a similar situation where i was overpaid. i now get nothing from them at all until it is cleared not even the basics £50.

nonono ~ sorry you are having such a hard time with this, have you tried writing to your MP?
Would it be possible for this *debt* to be seperate from you awards so that you can pay £xx per months and still receive the full amount you are entitled to, it may be worth asking.

nonono please please take the advice that I and others have given you here and contact either citizens advice or your MP. Just because TCO have said you owe this money back does not mean you have lost the right to dispute what they are saying. You have the right to ask for a written detailed explanation on how they think this overpayment arose. That would be provided by the staff who specifically analyse overpayments every day.

Once you have this explanation you can put the dispute in. CAB or your MP will help with this.
